Named sender and purpose
A campaign selection must match the business identified in the permission and its agreed message purpose. A registered WhatsApp account is not marketing consent.
JAPAN CONSUMER WHATSAPP DATA
DB To Data provides Japan consumer WhatsApp data with registered numbers, personal contact attributes and opt-in records. Plan messages around the business identified in the permission rather than assuming all consumers use the same messaging channel.

CONSUMER DATA FIELDS
Our eight-field structure combines personal contact information with the recorded source and time of opt-in.
WHATSAPP CONSENT
We supply double opt-in consumer records with recorded opt-in URLs and timestamps. WhatsApp messaging permission must cover the business sending the message and the communication the person agreed to receive. An opt-in to DB To Data does not automatically authorise messages from another brand.
A campaign selection must match the business identified in the permission and its agreed message purpose. A registered WhatsApp account is not marketing consent.
The opt-in URL and timestamp identify the recorded collection context. The underlying notice and consent wording define the sender, purposes and any authorised data disclosures.
Recipients can withdraw WhatsApp marketing permission. Stop requests need to be honoured on or off WhatsApp, with withdrawn contacts removed from the campaign audience.
Business-initiated conversations use approved message templates. Outside the customer-service window, an approved template is required. Template approval and recipient permission are separate requirements.
We do not treat a public profile, a number-format check or WhatsApp registration as an opt-in. Records without the required sender permission are not eligible for that campaign.
CITIES AND LOCAL AREAS
Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya and regional cities involve different delivery routes and service areas. The address field supports geographic selection; it does not establish language preference or current account activity.
CONSUMER CAMPAIGN USES
Consumer-facing businesses can organise product and service conversations around the sending brand’s permission, offer and delivery area.
Introduce product launches, stock arrivals and store offers for Japan consumers who have agreed to receive your brand’s WhatsApp promotions. Address-based selections can follow your delivery area.
Share grocery ranges, menu launches and local delivery offers within the sending business’s recorded marketing permission. Keep promotional messages separate from updates about an existing order.
Invite enquiries for cleaning, appliance repairs, furnishings and installation appointments in the locations your team serves. Use the consented conversation to arrange a suitable appointment.
Present clothing collections, accessories, furniture and household-product offers to consumers who opted in to the brand’s messages. Respond to product questions and requests for further information.
Introduce domestic stays, restaurant promotions and local experiences within the recipient’s agreed message scope. Promote the service without inferring interests from a phone number or address.
Prepare client-specific selections around the named sending brand, location and permitted message purpose. Permission for one client does not authorise promotions from another.
DATA MAINTENANCE
The dataset update date is separate from each contact’s original opt-in timestamp. Number formatting, contact details, recorded WhatsApp registration and current consent are distinct parts of the contact record.
We correct or remove records when incorrect information is identified. The dataset date does not mean every account was live-tested at the same moment.
SOURCE INFORMATION
Our double opt-in data includes an opt-in URL and opt-in time and date. Read our data sourcing information for our collection approach.
The recorded consent scope governs the permitted use of a contact; purchasing a file does not expand that scope.
LOCAL PRIVACY AND MARKETING FRAMEWORK
Japan’s APPI governs relevant personal-information use and third-party provision. Applicable consent or other lawful provision conditions must cover sharing, while WhatsApp messaging permission separately identifies the business and communication the recipient agreed to receive.
Package supply is limited to uses covered by the applicable collection notice, disclosure permissions and local rules. A sale or transfer does not create unrestricted messaging rights.
Our Do Not Sell My Info page accepts removal, sale opt-out and marketing-objection requests. Our Privacy Policy describes our personal-information practices.
Send DB To Data your locations, record quantity and intended sending business. We will discuss the fields, recorded consent scope, delivery format and price for your request.
Our Japan data is consumer personal contact data with registered WhatsApp numbers. The eight fields are: First name, Last name, Registered WhatsApp number, Gender, Age, Address, Opt-in URL, Opt-in time and date.
The dataset update date is 23 October 2026. This is the dataset maintenance date; it is separate from the original opt-in time and date stored with a contact.
This field records a personal phone number as associated with a WhatsApp account. Account registration, number formatting and permission to receive a specific business’s messages are separate attributes.
No. Our double opt-in records retain collection information, but messaging permission must cover the sending business and the relevant communication. An opt-in to DB To Data does not automatically authorise another brand.
They identify the recorded source and time of the opt-in. The underlying consent wording establishes the business, purposes and disclosures covered; the URL and timestamp alone do not prove unrestricted permission.
The selection must match the named sending business and agreed message purpose. Records without the required sender permission are not eligible for that campaign. Consent can be collected outside WhatsApp through an appropriate form or other permitted method.
Yes. Consumers can ask the sending business to stop messages and use our Do Not Sell My Info page for removal, sale opt-out and marketing-objection requests. A withdrawn permission must be reflected in the campaign suppression list.
On the WhatsApp Business Platform, business-initiated conversations use approved message templates. Outside the customer-service window, an approved template is required. Template approval does not replace recipient permission.
